Our restaurant is little off the beaten track in the west quarter of the city but offers quality dining in Exeter.
We accept that we may be easily missed by a casual glance, perhaps thats why we attract guests searching for a little gem of a restaurant, we try to be part of a neighbourhood that atracts people locally and from around the world, who become our guests throughout the year.
The Fish and Seafood we use come from Brixham and Exmouth, day boat landed. Scallops are a very popular dish, so too is Turbot, Monkfish & John Dory, Sea Bass and Fresh Brixham Crab, as with all fresh fish we depend on the season, the weather and market availabilty .
For our meat eaters the steaks are sourced from Pedegree Long Horn or Angus Beef just on the outskirts of Sampford Peverell. The best Burlescombe Lamb, Westcountry Duck and Pork also feature.
Seasonal Game feature when available and in season.
We have an interesting quality wine list and small but well stocked bar serving local gins, ales, lagers and spirits.
"Had a truly wonderful dinner at Angela's in Exeter. The food was excellent and the service impeccable - attentive and friendly without being intrusive and didn't feel at all rushed. Just wish I lived nearer so I could go back again tomorrow! Will definitely go again next time I am in Exeter."
"So nice to find a good independent restaurant, a refreshing change to the endless chains on the high street. We received a very warm welcome, even though we arrived late. Service was excellent and the fish we ordered was delicious. Would highly recommend."

This restaurant is a hidden gem that has been sparkling in the city for over twelve years. Tucked away in the West Quarter, it is well known for its seasonal, local and freshly cooked food, as well as for its relaxing atmosphere and friendly service.
The menu is bursting with dishes from local suppliers, with a varied choice of fish, meat and veggie options.
Sue loves: the crisp white linen tablecloths, the welcoming service and Richard’s homemade chocolates.
BBC goodfood, by Orlando Murrin . Best places to eat in Exeter Angela's Restaurant, run by a warm husband and wife team who take great pride in sourcing local meat and fish. The roasted creedy carver duck is top notch.
